Which type of funding is right for you?
There are three main types of funding, as follows:
- Escalator Fund: Our Escalator fund provides seedcorn funding to explore and stimulate ideas, support proof of concept activities and develop prototypes and pre-production devices within the digital economy. The digital economy, as CHERISH PI Matt Jones reminds us, is simply the ability to provide platforms, services, and devices that enable people to transact and relate - be that for an economical gain, or a societal gain. The fund offers three levels of support to digital economy research and encourage beneficiaries to return for additional funding over time.
Our 5th Call for Proposals opened on May 4th 2018. The deadline for expressions of interest is
May 18th 2018now June 4th 2018. Please submit your expressions of interest using our Online Application Form. Please also have a look at CHERISH prinicipal investigator Matt Jones talk about our Escalator Fund and let his words inspire and guide you as you think and write about your project ideas.

These are funded placements into public, private and third sector organisations that allow you to develop skills and knowledge, foster and scope out new collaborations.
